Summary

This new position will be an integral part of the Human Resources team that supports the organization and it’s over 400 employees. This position will be key to the success of the team and will have the opportunity to express creativity and grow with the team.

Scope of Responsibilities

Provide expertise in the following areas: 

  • Supports all payroll and timecard operations in ADP Workforce Now payroll system.
  • Maintain benefit enrollment between ADP and all benefit providers including monthly invoicing.  
  • Supports the benefits open enrollment processing through ADP.
  • Address employee questions and concerns.
  • Assists with regular employee review process and ensure corrective actions and performance improvement plans are being properly documented and maintained.
  • Assist with special projects including opportunities with learning & development, performance management, and employee culture assessments.
  • Maintain personnel records and employee files.
  • Work with outside partners on management of the organization’s DOT driver program.
  • Serve as point of contact for organizational benefits regarding paid time off, sick leave, leave of absence, etc.
  • Manage the organization’s FMLA and leave policies.
  • Coordinates the affirmative action plan and OSHA tracking annually.
  • Assist with 401k audit preparation.
  • Perform income and employment verifications.
  • Provide support for policy implementation and acknowledgement.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Ability to establish and model excellent teamwork and collaboration with diverse work groups.
  • Familiar with current federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience and skill in compensation structures and reviews.
  • Strong understanding of ADP Workforce Now.
  • Experience with other HRIS.
  • Integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to respond to and resolve moderately complex questions and concerns.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • 3 to 5 five years HR generalist experience.
