Here, your work directly supports the store mission to be the guest favorite through successfully developing and communicating the processes for operations, style and experience, new structures, new operating models and new technology, and utilizing workforce management activities for our nearly 2,000 locations nationwide. Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field teams and leaders who use them. A role with Fulfillment Operations means a big opportunity to apply your operations, supply chain and fulfillment experience to continuously evolve Same Day and Next Day fulfillment processes like Ship from Store, Order Pickup, Drive Up, & Fresh Grocery Pickup in order to meet rapidly changing guest and operational needs.

As an Operations Engineer in Store Operations, you will explore data, technologies, and the application of mathematical techniques to enable business and operational process insights. This includes evaluating new processes and network design for our fulfillment network across our nearly 2,000 stores. Your role is to help Target maximize the productivity of our stores and make Target fulfillment options as easy as possible for guests. You will learn and develop knowledge of retail store operations and supply chain management while honing your analytical skills, and working as part of a team to deliver the next phase of digital growth for Target.

About You:

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience in operations, business, engineering, computer science or a related discipline
• Experience leveraging data analysis, reporting, and analytics techniques and tools
• Familiarity with at least one programming language - SQL, R, or Python preferred
• Passion for data analysis, intellectual curiosity, and continuous learning via formal training and self-directed education
• Comfortable shifting between multiple priorities with leader direction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to form strong relationships with a variety of business partners

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $52,200 to $94,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
