A role within Space Analytics & Insights (SAI) means you're on a mission to create better store space and experiences for our guest while maximizing profitable sales. The SAI team combines data analytics and consulting to make space recommendations across Target's 1800+ stores. From recommending space in remodels to evaluating performance of in-store experiences, the Sr. Business Partner role has a unique opportunity to make a large-scale impact while working in a small start-up like environment within Space and Presentation. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to partner with cross-functional project teams in Merchandising, Store Design, Merchandise Planning, Finance, Store Operations and Visual Merchandising from strategy to execution to achieve an inspiring and convenient in-store guest experience.

As a Sr. Business Partner in Space Analytics & Insights, you could work on the following:
  • Own the development of new capabilities in partnership with Product and Data Sciences in order to elevate the role of analytics within Space and Presentation
  • Generate insights and forecast the financial impact of change to influence space allocation of future stores
  • Embrace a highly-analytical role with massive amounts of data and regular change, with a focus on making the right localized decisions for all stores
  • Partner with and influence senior leaders across Space and Presentation, Merchandising, and VM teams to ensure Target's strategies come to life through space
  • Champion an agile, entrepreneurial spirit as you help lead within a newly-formed team
  • Be supported along the way with onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a strong Sr Business Partner.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of work experience
  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous environments
  • Strong analytical skills and experience; can easily translate data from an array of sources into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Project or Product Management Experience
  • Ability to establish and nourish cross-functional working relationships across the enterprise

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $62500 - $112,500 Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
