Work Location: Work from home or hybrid (in the office 3 or more days per week)

Position Description

As the EDI and Technical Team Supervisor, you will be responsible to provide supervisory oversight and work direction to all EDI and Technical Team staff. Manage the coordination and administration of activities related to the EDI and Technical team functions and processes. These processes include EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 999, 277CA), provider and member payments, accumulators, EOBs, EOPs, reporting, Department Tools and Technologies (i.e., CCO ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams), and other miscellaneous functions.

In addition, you will provide oversight, track and ensure projects and requests are completed on time. Collaborate with project and/or business stakeholders on business impact, prioritization and communication plans. Monitor and track all team activities to ensure standards are being followed with proper documentation, status of work and communication.

• Establish, communicate and enforce performance standards for staff including goals and development plan creation, quarterly and annual reviews.

• Direct staff work assignments, workflow and performance to ensure adherence to service level objectives, policies and procedures.

• Support, manage, and communicate issue management including intake, review, analysis and resolution.

• Monitor work queues, volumes, and trends adjusting work assignments, as needed. Evaluate resource needs and collaborate with the CCO EDI & Technical Team Manager on operational process improvements.

• Collaborate with other organizational stakeholders to determine priorities, resource estimations, delivery deadlines for completion of workload, and communication support.

• Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures, work instructions, approach documents and other documentation to establish clear expectations for staff.

• Communicate status, accomplishments and risks regularly and/or as needed to EDI & Technical Team Manager.

• Participate in portfolio and department projects, assigning staff resources as appropriate, and fulfilling responsibilities as appropriate.

• Assist in supporting completion of work assignments or requests.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.


Bachelor's degree in business or related field; demonstrated work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

Two years supervisor/manager or equivalent experience managing people/processes. At least five years experience in a Healthcare operational roles. Two years experience with technical operations, IT, and/or technology implementations and projects.

Preferred Experience

Experience with business process improvement. Business process or project management experience. EDI experience.
