A role with Space & Presentation means you're on a mission to create better store space and experiences for our guest while maximizing sales. We are responsible for ensuring the right item is on the right shelf in the right store. On the Space side, we do this by using analytics to determine the appropriate footage for each assortment for every store ("adjacency"). Each store's assortment is assigned to a planogram (POG) which is developed in Presentation to ensure the localized assortment meets presentation objectives and is associated to the correct location in a store. We believe that making increasingly better space allocation and presentation decisions will increase sales, improve guest satisfaction and reduce out-of-stocks. Here, you'll partner with and manage cross-functional project teams in Merchandising, Store Design, Marketing, Store Operations and Non-Retail Procurement from strategy to execution to achieve an inspiring and convenient in-store guest experience.

As a Sr Business Partner in Space & Presentation, you'll take the lead as you partner with Merchandising leaders to drive the Adjacency and Map-It (space move) process. You will develop and define space-related business strategies for new Target stores by synthesizing multiple division level strategies and formulating an adaptation at a pyramid level based on analytics grounded in data. You will drive the timing & action in service of optimizing our stores' space for all categories within the pyramid, and prioritize the right experiential investments for each store in order to deliver the optimal experience and category space for our guests.

You will partner with Merchandising to refine category footage inputs that deliver assortment strategies; partner with a global team on Strategy Deployment to create adjacencies and planograms for new stores and remodeled stores; and drive special projects to enable new merchandising strategies, support fixture strategies, and test-to-learn opportunities. We'll support you along the way with robust onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a strong Space & Presentation Sr. Business Partner.

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $65,600 to $118,100. About you:
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of work experience, with 1+ years of Merchandising Space experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships across the enterprise
• Ability to manage multiple shifting priorities in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
• Ability to problem-solve and create innovative solutions to simplify and drive efficiency
