Experiential Marketing at Target is an integral part of the marketing team and is leveraged to connect Target's Leadership, through Key Company Meetings, with audiences from Headquarters and Stores Team Members, Domestic and International Vendor Partners, Financial Community Members, Shareholders, Marketing Agency Partners, Media and Board of Directors. Within Target, these activations play a large role in helping make Target an iconic brand. From 100-20,000 person immersive experiences, live and virtual, leveraging meeting planning, producing, creative and technical directing; experiential excellence and innovation is part of Target's brand DNA.

As a Technical Producer, Experiential Meetings, you will lead the onsite execution (live, virtual or both) while balancing business essential content and industry leading creative to bring the Target brand to life. With a dedicated focus on technical production you will partner closely with Planning, Producing, Creative, Motion, Technology and Communications to elevate the brand and promote deep engagement and sharing of the experience. You will work with some of the best agency and production partners in the business as well as the world-class Target Creative team to dream up and execute industry-leading meeting experiences that consistently deliver on strategic objectives.

On any given day, you will be simultaneously developing and managing production plans consisting of scenic/staging, lighting, sound, technology, speaker needs and appropriate external resourcing. You will craft budgets and schedules to ensure feasibility and safety across programs of varying scale. You will collaborate and communicate with internal and external partners, at all levels, including internal executive leadership. You will provide all partners on-going updates and recommendations throughout the process. You will track metrics to influence future planning. You will define and reinforce best practices and operate as one Target team to keep the work moving forward. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. About you:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of technical and/or onsite producer experience, live and virtual
  • Strong Meetings/B2B background
  • Experience directing teams

  • Demonstrate ability to synthesize information, think critically, and communicate effectively both verbally and written
  • Comfortable presenting to the highest level of leaders in the company and negotiating solutions on the fly
  • Ability to be calm under pressure, especially in the onsite environment
  • Curiosity around learning new things, uncovering new opportunities and staying current with culture.
  • Exhibit integrity, creativity, ingenuity, and resourcefulness

  • Ability to work well with process and procedure
  • Ability to travel, work evenings, weekends and some holidays to support execution
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Ability to do work in Microsoft Office 365, Slack and Zoom
  • Ability to travel

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents $65,600-$118,100.
