Business Information/Systems Specialist-Sheriff’s Office

Join our team in the Sheriff’s Office to assist in evaluating, planning, re-designing and implementing new and existing software system solutions. The position identifies and implements ways to enhance and/or maximize existing software systems and assists business units in identifying requirements for software upgrades. Must possess skills in project management and business analysis services to continually innovate ideas for creative solutions for the Sheriff’s Office and Public Safety partners in Scott County.

MQs: Requires equivalency to a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, criminal justice, law enforcement, business administration, quantitative or statistical analysis, or related field and two years progressively responsible and complex business and engineering analysis experience in a medium to large government or service-industry organization. Preference given for experience in project management, software administration, and process analysis and design. 

Salary Range: $70,115 to $105,173 - DOQ.
