A role with Target Visual means an opportunity to shape how our guests experience presentations inside our stores. You'll drive the success of both forward-thinking projects, and best practices, that have a global impact on Visual activities. Bring your exceptional skills to design presentations with purpose that are relevant, inspiring, and connected, to delight the guest and drive growth. Here, you'll balance art and science as you oversee the curation of presentations throughout the store.

As a Sr Visual Logistics Manager, you will drive execution of the holistic & connected guest journey for in-store presentation in service of headquarters alignment. You will play a key role in influencing process and technology to enable HQ Visual interactions in a hybrid interaction model; inclusive of pre-set collaboration and post-set validations for hindsighting within Mock and/or Lab Stores. You will be responsible for all Mock and Lab Store logistics; inclusive of samples, hardware maintenance, walk-through coordination, and preparation across all Visual and Store Experience Marketing Design and Innovation business areas. You will be responsible for product sample management, physical and virtual, to enable Visual Merchandising and Styling teams to develop presentations that tell stories, drive in-store business and guest engagement.

You will collaborate and facilitate workstreams between the Minneapolis and Target in India to optimize processes and create efficiencies. Connect with cross-functional partners to enable optimized interaction model within Mock and Lab Stores. You will collaborate and coordinate with field leadership partners to enable connection points in field Lab Stores that minimize disruption to the Store's daily business routines. You will leverage your excellent communication and time management skills to develop and manage routines with key stakeholders to meet deadlines. You will manage the Mock Store financial budget, driving efficiency while maintaining a functional and collaborative space for the Visual Team and cross-functional partners.

In this role, you will influence, coach, lead and develop a high-performing team of Visual specialists. You will manage workload focuses for direct reports to support business needs and development through Personal Development Plans supporting growth and career pathing. You will foster team dynamic through collective and individual investment (technical, transferrable, and expandable skills) developing a talent pipeline that steward's representation and readiness within network. You will reinforce priorities and participate in cultural initiatives for personal development, while promoting team behavioral growth. The exciting part of retail? It's always changing! About you:
  • 5-7 years of Visual experience.
  • 3 or more years of corporate headquarters experience with in-store retail knowledge.
  • Excellent communicator with presentation, project management and organization skills.
  • Experience leading people with ability to network and recruit diverse talent based on representation of Target guest.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage relationships with team and key business partners.
  • Continually seeks innovative technology inclusive of virtual software and platform sharing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet.
  • Preferred: 4-year college degree in Visual Merchandising, Art, Design, or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
