About us:

Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America's leading retailers.

The Financial and Retail Services (FRS) organization is close to the action when it comes to communication-whether with guests or Target team members. From guest service professionals and product designers, to vendor managers and financial and workforce management analysts, FRS comprises several key and high-visibility areas that elevate and nurture Target's distinctive reputation. We cultivate loyalty and satisfaction through exceptional service and support. And we foster a culture of responsive, knowledgeable and committed service-from the inside out-through enterprise services our people can count on.

Beyond our world-class contact centers, there are many important challenges to be met in other FRS teams like the FRS Operations and Product Team, which plays at the intersections of process and technology, and Contact Center Support Services (SCSO) which develops comprehensive service delivery strategies for our contact centers. FRS Payment product management teams are responsible for manageing product life cycle, marketing plans and growing loyalty, frequency and revenues for all Payment Cards (RedCard™, gift card). Our Bank Program and included credit risk and compliance functions manage Merchandise Finance, Capital Finance, Expense Management and Financial Goals and Forecasts. And the FRS Controller heads up FRS Accounting and Financial Operations, including Accounting and Control, Retail Bankcard Services, Target Card Services, Fraud Prevention & Dispute Resolution.

A role on the Prepaid team means you'll develop products, enable functionality and curate guest centric, localized, assortments that place financial products into the guest's hands through all available channels. You'll create category strategies, own forecasting and financial planning and develop pricing and promotional strategies. You'll manage a comprehensive supply-chain that executes inventory optimization strategies to ensure our inventory is available at the right time, in the right places. You'll work across the enterprise to envision and advocate for the future, manage product assortments, proactively prevent fraud and unlock the future of prepaid based on differing needs of our Guests.

As a Sr. Product Consultant, you'll take on the project manager role by leading the production of all prepaid products (Target GiftCards, VISA Gift Cards and other financial products, etc.) from concept to market. You'll manage multiple production timelines and project plans with varying deadlines, partners, vendors and complexity. This includes identifying and utilizing project management tools to aid in your work (SharePoint, smart sheet, excel, etc.). You'll build and maintain strong internal and external partnerships, pro-actively communicating deliverables and ensuring partner compliance. You'll develop the strategy to produce cards and packaging that aligns with the product strategy, market trends, guest insights, and security requirements. You'll drive Omni-channel creative and marketing strategies in partnership with Creative, Marketing, Site Merchandising teams and external vendors. You'll collect data and analyze the competition, vendors, and guest insights to influence an actionable strategy. You'll identify opportunities for efficiencies in future projects by leveraging analytics, reporting, team and partner feedback to drive process optimization. We'll support you along the way with robust onboarding, as well as personal and career development, to help you grow as a strong Sr. Product Consultant.
