As a Telecom Expense Management Professional, you will support a portfolio of complex voice & data products and services. Responsibilities include adhering to end to end business process required to procure, order, process, pay and allocate expenses for telecommunications services provided at appropriate rates, as well as utilize expense and data analytics to manage and control telecom costs. This position supports implementation of voice/data services based on specific infrastructure or project requirements. Must be able to address and resolve complex problems. You will review, approve and dispute connectivity invoices utilizing all associated tools including 3rd party web based, SAP and Microsoft products by identifying, allocating and paying accounts to appropriate cost centers, investigating misapplied payments and communicating with providers and/or Accounting, understanding and being able to track payments through multiple payment methods ensuring Target is paying for the right services at the correct contracted rate. You will continuously audit spending in all categories in an effort to eliminate billing errors and to seek out savings opportunities by researching and resolving inquiries and inefficiencies, identify opportunities for process improvement and implement cost saving methods, conduct risk-based internal audits, prepare clear and concise documentation to support conclusions and findings.

Additionally, you will support and maintain circuit/point of service inventory and disconnect unused or underutilized services by identifying, researching and resolving inquiries and inefficiencies; identify opportunities for process improvement and implement cost saving methods; work with network resources to analyze and advocate course of action; maintain inventory of all voice and data services on a global scale. You will be responsible for documentation of TEM operational processes; coordinating with internal team members to establish processes and publishing to team SharePoint - creating content, communicating to internal partners and external partners.

About you:
  • Bachelor's Degree B.A./B.S (technical preferred) or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 10 years business/technology experience
  • Previous work with a Telecom Expense Management Tool preferred
  • Carrier Services Portfolio Management
  • Contract review/negotiation
  • Local Exchange Carriers and Payment functions
  • Project management experience
  • Demonstrated track record of effective results oriented tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Analytical, reasoning, and negotiations skills
  • Interpersonal, verbal, presentation and written communication skills
  • Willingness to collaborate with multiple partners
  • Proficiency Microsoft Office applications
