Then you'll have success on the Digital Operations team, whose goal is to offer guests a seamless shopping experience across our platforms-including Target.com and the store network's fulfillment capabilities. Here, you'll collaborate to create and implement the digital strategies that enrich the online and stores experience through the right mix of data, process, and technology, creating a simple and intuitive guest experience. Your ideas will support Target in complementing the beloved in-store shopping interaction with a convenient, reliable and instantly gratifying digital experience.

  • Drive exceptional guest experience through the creation and management of complete, accurate, and relevant Item Data & Content.
  • Lead, coach, and develop an operations team with direct and indirect reports across all Item Data Quality activities (Item Certification & Compliance, Item Governance, Item Acquisition, Item Quality Measurements and Item Data Remediation).
  • Develop team through on-the-job experiences, relevant feedback, visibility and recognition.
  • Lead Target's external partnerships related to data quality and item best practices (GS1, 1WorldSync, Syndigo, etc.).
  • Influence the enterprise on Data Quality best practices, including partnering with Internal Audit on initiatives regarding data quality
  • Set strategies, align work, set priorities, and establish and track desired metrics to ensure business and team goals are met.
  • Lead multiple cross-functional initiatives across teams that consist of Product, Merchants, taxonomy, product content, site merchandising and vendor to ensure appropriate utilization of Item Data.
  • Establish and achieve operational objectives that are in line with Targets strategic priorities.
  • Create, analyze, and manage key performance indicators to monitor end to end capabilities and partner satisfaction, including the Item Quality Index.
  • Identify tool & process gaps, propose solutions, and partner with product teams and leadership to deliver improved operational efficiencies and effectiveness.
  • Partner across several teams including our global Item Center of Excellence team

About you:
  • B.A/B.S degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of retail and ecommerce experience
  • Team leadership experience
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, especially breaking down and simplifying complex topics
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, simultaneously managing working team and partner relationships
  • Demonstrate innovative and creative problem solving skills with strong leadership skills
  • Experienced in collaborating across departments/pyramids/vendor teams and driving results through collaboration
  • Drives for results and manage execution: coordinate, prioritize, establish goals, ensure timelines are being met and use resources
  • High level of initiative and organization, with the ability to be resilient and adaptable and manage ambiguity, risk, uncertainty and changing directions
  • Ability to partner with internal and external teams
