ENTERPRISE REPORTING MANAGER

Work Location: Work from home or hybrid (in the office 3 or more days per week)

Position Description

This position is responsible to oversee and assist with planning, design, and development of UCare Business Intelligence (BI) reporting via various BI tools in collaboration with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) team and other key business partners. Serve as a business partner to cross functional teams by helping define data requirements, solving any existing data challenges, and developing effective solutions. Provide training and mentoring to staff and other developers on how to best utilize available tools and data.

• Manage, select, train, develop, and evaluate staff. Monitor work flow and provide performance feedback. Build and maintain a team of highly effective developers to support UCare's growing need for more self-service and other reporting.

• Collaborate with the EDW technical team to design, develop, test, maintain, and support the data architecture to ensure optimal performance and reporting flexibility while maintaining data warehouse quality standards.

• Collaborate with Enterprise Data Manager to ensure data governance principles are applied to BI reporting development and execution as well as governing the data structures for Tableau.

• Collaborate with business experts to drive the development of self-service and other reporting that meets the needs of the business while creating quality and consistency of reporting across multiple areas.

• Manage the annual readiness initiatives as it relates to data transformations for new and existing BI developed reporting.

• Provide mentoring, guidance, and training on how to most effectively use and choose the appropriate report development and distribution tool; such as, Tableau, BusinessObjects, MedeAnalytics, or other reporting and analysis tools.

• Manage the development of dashboards, models, data visualizations, and decision aids to support UCare in making data driven decisions.

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

BA/BS in business, technology, or related field preferred. Demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

Five or more years of experience working with BusinessIntelligence tools including but not limited to SAP BusinessObjects, Microsoft BI, or similar. Experience working with business experts to evaluate complex data requirements and lead to project completion. Prior management or supervisory experience.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a data warehouse environment as well with data visualization tools; such as Tableau. Intermediate level of SQL experience writing and performing stored procedures and complex queries.
