Job Details

This position performs specialized entry level social worker duties. Position may require some evening and weekend hours. The employee assists in social work services in a specialized area of a program including assessment, guidance, and referral of clients seeking assistance. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans involving the application of casework methods. The employee may be assigned duties in any of the Social Service units. Assignments are interchangeable dependent on department needs and specific program requirements.

MQs: Requires A bachelor's degree in health/human services field OR an Associate's degree and two years of experience OR high school diploma/GED and four years of related work experience. Related work experience in a position involving case documentation/social work and working with families and children. Bachelor of Social Work is preferred. Experience in serving underrepresented communities; specifically American Indian, People of Color, or Hispanic populations, and candidates who are bilingual, are preferred. The incumbent shall possess a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation for the performance of work responsibilities

Hiring Range: $24.21 - $30.26 Hourly per hour – DOQ.
