SENIOR ENGINEER

Target Enterprise, Inc. is seeking a full-time Senior Engineer at our offices in Brooklyn Park, MN. The Senior Engineer is responsible for product lifecycle from design, development, implementation, integration and support by analyzing the business requirements, splitting and sequencing technical stories, developing, validating and implementing them. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 18 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) designing, developing, and supporting highly scalable, performant, and resilient REST APIs using open source technologies; (2) automating the continuous integration and deployment pipeline to make faster and incremental releases; (3) building maintainable, portable, testable and observable software by following the coding standards, best practices and performing code reviews; (4) responsible for product lifecycle from design, development, implementation, integration and support by analyzing the business requirements, splitting and sequencing technical stories, developing, validating and implementing them; and (5) utilizing the following software tools and technologies: Java, Groovy, J2EE, Spring Framework, Rabbit MQ, JMS, Jenkins, Spock, Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle, MYSQL, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Docker, Kibana, ElasticSearch and Grafana.
