The laundry / Linen Aide is responsible for the collection and delivery of linens / laundry to all areas of the facility.
DUTIES
Major job functions include: Collects soiled linen from assigned areas, delivers clean linen to assigned areas, maintains inventory par levels for each unit, assists with vendor pick up of soiled linens, disinfects linen carts, follows daily assignments for cleaning duties, practices infection control measures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must be able to adjust to change and work as a team player. Requires ability to manage work time and work independently. Exercises confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations. Previous experience preferred.
