Curriculum Management Specialist (Administrative Assistant III)

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum / Required

  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously administer numerous projects. Strong organizational and administrative skills; attention to detail. Experience using Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Excel, and other technologies. One (1)+ years of experience in higher education or service industry. One (1)+ years of experience in a fast-paced office environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent.

Highly Desired

  • Proficiency with PeopleSoft, Microsoft Office Suite, UWBI and Qualtrics. Two (2)+years of experience in higher education or service industry. Two (2)+years of experience in a fast-paced office environment. Associate degree or other related professional credential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position is responsible for establishing policies and procedures for customized instruction and continuing education course set-up; maintaining the schedule of courses; completing forms for course approval process and segregated fee waiver requests; coordinating and submitting special course fee requests; running queries; and the entry and maintenance of the continuing education course database/eCatalog.

The unit advocates for student learning success by decreasing barriers and increasing learning support services.

Stout Online provides comprehensive services and support are provided to UW-Stout academic programs and their diverse student audiences through coordinated work across numerous campus stakeholders. Stout Online coordinates student support or post-traditional learners within Customized Instruction programs, in collaboration and consultation with program directors, department chairs, academic colleges, and other student support services units.
