The Financial and Retail Services (FRS) organization is close to the action when it comes to communication-whether with guests or Target team members. From guest service professionals and product designers, to vendor managers and financial and workforce management analysts, FRS comprises several key and high-visibility areas that elevate and nurture Target's distinctive reputation. Beyond our world-class contact centers, there are many important challenges to be met in other FRS teams like the FRS Operations and Product Team, which plays at the intersections of process and technology, and Contact Center Support Services (SCSO) which develops comprehensive service delivery strategies for our contact centers. FRS Product Design manages and grows loyalty, frequency and other marketing programs for all Payment Cards (REDcard, GiftCard). Our Bank Program and included credit risk and compliance functions manage Merchandise Finance, Capital Finance, Expense Management and Financial Goals and Forecasts. And the FRS Controller heads up FRS Accounting and Financial Operations, including Accounting and Control, Retail Bankcard Services, Target Card Services, Fraud Prevention & Dispute Resolution.

A role with the FRS Data Analytics team means being part of the team that enables faster, smarter and scalable decision-making to compete and win the modern retail market. Here, you'll leverage data, statistics and visualization to create the actionable insights that deliver value for our Payment and Service Center capabilities. Our savvy reporting and analytics experts use market-leading tools and data automation to make a positive impact that's felt across the business. If you can work on autonomous teams, integrate the latest practices with your approach, write code to handle massive data sets, simplify complex decisions by providing flexible, fast and sustainable decision-making solutions, then you'll be very successful in our BIA team!

As a Sr. Manager Data Analytics, you will lead a team of data analysts in an agile environment building reporting and analytics solutions. The key to the success of this position is having strong & innovative approach to problem solving, great data analytics leadership, excellent communication (written and verbal, formal and informal), flexibility, a self-motivated style and attention to detail.

• Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and partner with teams to determine solutions
• Manage overall reporting and analytics development cycle, driving best practices and ensuring development of high-quality code
• Prioritize backlog to focus on the highest impact work
• Engage team in performance, career development and grow skillsets
• Manage cross-team dependencies and drive conflict resolution to meet set deadlines
• Promote a learning culture and identify skill gaps
• Engage team in career development to advance and grow skillsets
• Available for escalation or to help remove obstacles
• Lead agile practices and ceremonies (standups, Demos, retrospectives, etc.)

About you

• Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills and ability to anticipate challenges
• Ability to lead change, establish direction and work through conflict and setbacks
• Proven ability to collaborate, communicate effectively with partner teams and influence others
• Experience in working in the agile model (stories, backlog refinement, etc)
• 6 - 8 years managing data analytics solutions. Experience in building reports and analytical solutions using enterprise tools.
• Strong sense of ownership
• Experience operating in medium to large reporting solutions
• Experience in a data analytics organization

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $85,400-$153,700.
