A role in Corporate Compliance and Ethics means providing support and managing key compliance areas for Target including stores, distribution centers and at headquarters. You will also be a part of helping Target maintain a positive work environment by coordinating efforts in its Ethics office.

As an Intake and Triage Specialist on the Incident Complaint Management team you will Act as the first point of contact for all communication received through the Hotline case management system, email inboxes and mail; Ensure timely and accurate review and processing of all incoming complaints, consistent with any service level agreements established. Evaluate incoming investigative matters based on anticipated risk, complexity, and investigator capacity and coordinate the investigator assignment process; manage, collect and audit sensitive team member information to support thorough, accurate and complete incident data. Develop deep subject matter expertise in the case management tool and serve as a system administrator; manage system permissions, execute platform updates, support training and documentation, troubleshoot and identify technology issues, and recommend improvements to workflow. Serve as a Hotline reporting expert by building new reports, managing incoming data requests, regularly reviewing data for accuracy and conducting trend and other analysis as requested; respond to investigators, partners and business leaders' requests for information by preparing data summaries and presentations, and proactively communicate trends or identified risks to support mitigation planning. Support the development, consistent review, and adherence to investigation best practices and processes; Establish cross-functional relationships across the hotline and enterprise investigations teams to drive consistency, collaboration and process or technology improvements. About you:
  • High School diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of related, with an emphasis on data entry, report development and/or other relevant operational or administrative support functions; previous HR experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to adapt, prioritize and successfully manage multiple tasks or projects in response to ambiguous, changing or competing priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining appropriate prioritization and ensuring adherence to deadlines
  • Ability to apply discretion and sensitivity while working with confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively as a member of a matrixed team
  • Strong attention to detail and bias for accuracy; ability to spot and resolve errors and anticipate escalated issues


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or other advanced degree preferred
  • Previous HR experience
  • Reporting development/data analytics experience
  • Previous experience using, administering and/or enhancing case management tools and systems
