As Senior Manager Community Impact (CI) Operations you will:

Serve as subject matter expert in driving exceptional philanthropic operations based on knowledge of established standards and practices in this area
  • Lead the team managing grant making operations
  • Drive strategic review and oversight of routines, systems, and operational approach to modernize our operations and ensure ability to withstand expanded volume
  • Build strong partnerships across business lines to help create more seamless processes for strategic grantmaking
  • Inspire intellectual curiosity around operational improvement opportunities
  • Connect and integrate CI strategy into operations
  • Proactive integration of equity into our operations
  • Lead development of innovative, new operational solutions that drive operational efficiency and strong customer experience
  • Oversee development of end-to-end operational processes the drive efficiency and mitigate risk in close partnership with Compliance leadership
  • Create process for review/vetting of business line request
  • Create simple, repeatable, and automated solutions that solve complex operational challenges
  • Process Mapping & Efficiency

About You:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 7+ years of experience working in the private or public sector on efforts specifically around driving operational excellence through robust process, routines, and risk mitigation
  • Demonstrated success working across business lines and program teams
  • Knowledge and experience with budget planning and management
  • Strong knowledge of social and environmental issues and stakeholder landscapes
  • Passion for connecting and integrating equity into operations
  • Ability to create collaborative partnerships across teams, and inspire team leads to lead through lens of risk mitigation
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Successful experience in identifying, cultivating and growing partnerships across business lines
  • Proven problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and out-side of the box thinking skills - connecting dots and translating ideas into action
  • Proven ability to collaborate and engage with external partners (e.g., vendors, leaders in the field of philanthropy)
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategies against one or more societal issues
  • Strong analytical, organizational, planning experience and ability to work independently, including the ability to multi-task and manage demands and/or projects simultaneously

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $85,400 to $153,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
