We are responsible for driving the organizational effectiveness of Infrastructure investments and operations in service of Target's guests and team members.

As a Sr. Operations Analyst, you are responsible for driving the organizational effectiveness of Infrastructure investments and operations in service of Target's guests and team members. Infrastructure Strategy and Business Operations will proactively manage the business of infrastructure and enable leaders to effectively operate, drive business outcomes within their domain and across domains, maintain organizational health, foster a culture of innovation and inclusivity and influence the industry.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Support Infra VPs (and their team) in regards to the financial and operational health of their portfolio
  • Financial (hardware & software capital investment, license & maintenance, resources)
  • Operational (stability, security, compliance)
  • Team (headcount, level mix, diversity goals, on-boarding)
• Help to run the business of IT by providing visibility and insight to the financial and operational health of the portfolio, transparency to progress against goals and scenario planning to modify tactics to meet goals
• Support routines on behalf of the infrastructure organization to drive alignment and provide coaching and support to stakeholders on their roles and responsibilities
• Prepare materials and presentations for leadership
• Establish, maintain, improve and leverage best practices and tools that enable the team to achieve desired outcomes and to ensure continuous process improvement
• Partner with the Finance team to ensure teams are prepared for corporate financial reviews and adhering to the corporate financial processes
• Manage relationships and collaborate with our extended team partners across Target (e.g. influence upward as well as across the organization)
• Manage communications and collaboration (e.g. intranet sites, SharePoint, communities)

REPORTING/WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to Sr. Manager, Infrastructure Strategy and Business Operations

About You:

• 4-year degree or equivalent
• 2+ years of transferrable experience
• Independent, self-starter, curious and thrives on learning new content
• Detail-oriented and well organized
• Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal, written and facilitation skills
• Professional maturity to interface with all levels of the organization
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Ability to analyze, synthesize and distill multiple sources of information to tell a story
• Ability to handle and protect confidential information
• Ability to work in an agile environment, demonstrate the agility to adapt and evolve
• Proficiency with O365 suite/Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
• Understanding of technology, applications and platforms
