A role with Target In-Store Marketing means an opportunity to shape our guests' holistic experience of our marketing content inside our stores. You'll drive the success of both forward-thinking projects and best practices that have a global impact on In-Store Marketing's activities. Bring your exceptional skills for prioritization to allocate and manage projects to meet budget and timing parameters. Here, you'll balance efficiency with effectiveness as you oversee the production and logistics for all In-Store Marketing deliverables.

As a Marketing Operations Manager, you will use your talents and experience to work independently while both supporting and leading projects, financial planning and budgeting for your specific area of responsibility. You will support end to end initiatives that drive operational improvement in SEM via improved tools, processes, reporting, roles/responsibilities and operational efficiencies. You will also influence and support change management for improvement in the areas of technology, process, or team member / guest experience. As part of this role, you will be required to proactively understand operational opportunities and address escalated questions or concerns. In order to accomplish this, you will collect data, insights and research to make a team strategy that is cohesive with the enterprise needs. You will represent SEM in enterprise cross-pyramid initiatives to ensuring alignment in process, and standards and drive collaboration to ensure that key stakeholder impacts are communicated and understood. You will work in a proactive and supportive fashion while taking ownership of business challenges and solutions. You will determine the approach to the work and be directed based on key objective check-ins.

About you:
  • Four-year degree in Business, Marketing, or related area, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of project management or marketing experience
  • Ability to manage and execute projects in many different stages and work within ambiguous situations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time
  • Ability to identify process and tool improvements and implement change
  • Ability to lead large scale ambiguous projects and drive measurable results
  • Collaborative team player
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, initiative and accountability
  • Strong communication (written and verbal skills - Ability to articulate complicated ideas in a digestible manner and keep partners informed of the status of work and expected action items
  • Proven ability to develop relationships, influence partners, and gain commitment
  • Project and process management/ownership experience
  • 6Sigma/LEAN certification desired
