As a Hi Tech Engineer - US, you serve as technical support specialist to Target end users: providing one-on-one in-person, virtual, and remote support and education for hardware and software.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide a high level of technical support to end users daily - rapid resolution of hardware, software, educational, and environmental issues experienced by end users
  • Provide preventative maintenance to ensure hardware and software stability
  • Fulfill HQ hardware deployment/recovery requests accurately and on-time
  • Coordinate and collaborate with partner support teams to drive issue resolution
  • Adhere to and advocate for Target's Information Security Policies and Best Practices
  • Drive continuous improvement with the development of new standards, best practices, and process improvements
  • Provide supervision/work direction to interns

About You
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years relevant technical support experience
  • Availability to work at multiple locations
  • Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
  • Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
  • Proven troubleshooting ability with Android OS, iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Windows 10, and O365
  • Strong support-minded focus
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with end users: understand their needs and translate into technology solutions
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment, fast learner, self-starter, and highly passionate and motivated individual
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • Positive attitude
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices
  • Experience with Agile methodologies - emphasis on Scrum and/or Scrum
