A Director role within the COE Capabilities Team means leading a team focused on the creation of innovative tools, resources, and processes that ensure our Business Partners can be trained and accredited as an extension of our Owned Brand Product Development Teams. Can you lead a team to create new and innovative solutions that support the training and development of our partners? Do you love to collaborate with teams across the globe to ensure we are developing best in class products that are unprecedented in the marketplace for their quality and value? Do you have the passion and critical thinking needed to in establish technical and training solutions that help meet strategic business goals? Then you'll have success leading our COE Accreditation Capability who owns the strategy and execution of our expanding Business Partner Empowerment vision that supports Owned Brand business goals. In close partnership with cross functional leaders, global Owned Brand teams, and our business partners you will drive the vision, strategy, and program management of Accreditation and Training. You'll lead, develop and manage team members by setting clear objectives, providing ongoing performance feedback, and evaluating potential.

Responsibilities
- Lead the accreditation strategy and program management across Owned Brand teams.
- Work closely with global technical leaders to align on the accreditation strategy and goals
- Partner with cross functional leaders to align on strategy and program growth
- Establish program metrics (KPIs), in partnership with leaders and experts, around program goals, growth, utilization, and performance
- Collaborate with business partners across the globe to align on strategy, training, and succession planning
- Establishes and provides strategic direction to team for achieving individual or team goals, and balances time and resources to achieve these
- Communication of progress to goals to cross functional leaders and teams
- Lead the program by identifying tools and resources for efficiency and growth
- Owns personal and team development through continuous learning and proactively seeking new assignments that will help build knowledge and improve skills
- Identify training and development opportunities needed to ensure we build the skills and capabilities needed for future ways of working
- Develop strategic network of contacts with experts across the industry to bring knowledge and innovation to Target
- Ensure the teams are addressing and resolving problems by providing appropriate tools and resources to the product teams along with partnering with the appropriate parties to ensure products meet Target's Owned Brand strategic objectives
- Proactively partner with cross functional leaders to ensure capability needs are met for product performance and quality execution to meets Target's Owned Brand standards
- Lead your team to develop industry-changing products and/or processes and ensures owned brand products are leading the industry and driving long-term benefits to Target
- Ensures expense planning and management of resources for optimum productivity and added value
- Ensures accountability of expense and proper authorization pre and post travel
- Engages and inspires teams through effective messaging; proactively aligning cross functional leaders for clear and consistent communication; modeling global connectivity
- Ensures transparency and support of team through escalation process when required for speedy resolution
- Communicates information and facilitates the open exchange of ideas and diverse view points
- Co-create and transform Target as an industry leading company of choice through equitable experiences across talent practices; assessment, selection process, onboarding, retention and inclusive leadership
About You:
- 10+ years related work experience
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate to all levels internally and external management of vendor partners with diverse cultural backgrounds
- Strategic thinking and ability to plan; organize and execute
- Ability to manage project plans and resources
- Strong knowledge of product development and manufacturing processes
- Ability to analyze information to drive business decisions
