A role with the Localization and Small Format merchandising team means delivering a locally relevant guest experience. Through curating assortments that are right for each neighborhood in both our existing stores and our growing portfolio of small format stores, you'll create value for guests and communities while seeing your work benefit all of Target.

As a Sr. Buyer on the Small Formats Team, you'll develop and lead strategies to drive growth across Food & Beverage businesses in small format stores. You'll do so by combining store cluster data/inputs with guest insights to deliver a locally relevant space and assortment strategy. From there, you'll analyze category level sales and profitability metrics to create locally relevant assortment strategies by segment.

Major responsibilities include division, category and company space and adjacency planning, assortment architecture alignment with core merchants - and full integration into New Store, Transition, Revision and Company Space processes. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional teams (including Store Planning, Space & Presentation, IM Operations, Store Operations, Localization and Marketing) to drive category results while managing progress toward sales and margin goals.

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

About you:

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of Merchandising experience
• Food & Beverage experience strongly preferred
• Strong strategic and analytical skills to grow a business
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with cross-functional team
• Flexible, resilient and comfortable working in "grey areas" that are constantly changing

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $85,400-$153,700.
