Summary: 

This position provides HR support and guidance for all scoring activity within Performance Assessment Services, including recruitment and retention, staffing, company policies, EEO/AA, employee relations, unemployment, record keeping, and communication and training.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-going assistance to test scorers, team leaders, and scoring directors to ensure. understanding and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Engage in solving problems initiated by questions from scoring center staff.
  • Develop and implement successful recruiting sourcing strategies for the high-volume recruitment of remote test scorers
  • Interface and manage relationships with temporary staffing agencies as needed
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Interview and select test scorers during virtual recruiting events.
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices, remaining compliant with applicable employment law
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Identify and track key metrics for test scorers.
  • Resolve employee relations issues.
  • Forecast temporary test scorer workforce needs.
  • Assist in developing and presenting training to team leaders and scoring directors on HR related/management issues/processes.
  • Select, train and manage seasonal HR staff.
  • Evaluate test scorer performance and help determine return eligibility. 
  • Keep abreast of competitive market data for attraction and retention, specifically for remote workforces
  • Utilize HRIS system to support onboarding and offboarding process of test scorers.
  • Track the progress of project deadlines and requirements.
  • Interface with temporary staffing agencies as needed.
  • Participate in unemployment and county assistance resolutions.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years HR experience with increasing areas of responsibility
  • Experience working within HRIS systems
  • Excellent organization, teaming, and communication skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and determine appropriate course of action
  • Demonstrated ability, energy and drive to work in fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Proven ability to be hands-on and strategic
  • Background in high-volume recruitment and staffing
  • Experience interfacing with all levels of employees 
  • Essential Job Requirements:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Relate effectively and work respectfully with diverse work groups
