As a Lead Information Security Analyst, you may lead or support companywide initiatives across the enterprise. Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

  • Manage changes to Target's Information Security and Acceptable Use policy, leading in-depth security conversation with Cybersecurity leadership and other impacted stakeholders
  • Support Target's Issue Governance practices, advising leadership of any actions to take to help reduce security risks and strengthen the governance practices
  • Provide eGRC expertise to Cybersecurity
  • Work closely with the regulatory compliance teams to ensure that they have the tools and resources that they need to fully execute their workstreams
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and develop strong liaison relationships
  • Identify opportunities to continuously innovate and improve the value the program delivers to the organization
  • Summarize and report key risks to Info Security leadership


Desired skills and experience include:

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of information security, risk management and governance experience
  • Strong technical security controls, development practices
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of security principles, security controls, DevSecOps practices
  • Demonstrates familiarity with current and emerging technologies in own scope of responsibility, and develops ability to apply these technologies
  • Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education
  • Solid problem-solving skills and experience
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and develop working business relationships and trust
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
