As a Senior Financial Analyst, Global Supply Chain & Logistics (GSCL) Finance, you'll oversee the financial performance of Target's Distribution Centers across the supply chain network. Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Synchronization in GSCL Finance, you'll be supported along the way to challenge your partners to drive continued financial success and to provide them with analytical insights of their performance. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs, but the role will have accountability to delivering the following:
  • Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for distribution center expense
  • Actual performance recaps to Finance and business leaders on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Build financial tools and models for our field partners that help them advance the business
  • Develop ad hoc analytics to explain key business drivers and influence optimal outcomes
  • Drive data discovery and enhancements to ensure our Finance team has the data we need to effectively influence and manage the business working with Finance Regional Controllers to drive prioritization across our partners
  • Build relationships and partnerships with the Finance Regional Controllers, who directly support our buildings and field leaders to optimize the financial performance and create a continuous feedback loop on financial KPIs

About you:
  • 4-year college degree, MBA or equivalent experience (4 or more years) in Finance and/or Operations
  • Uses analysis to influence with facts and data
  • Detail oriented with the ability to work on multiple tasks and deliver outcomes
  • Comfortable developing multiple scenarios to communicate a risk adjusted range of expected financial performance
  • Willingness to make financial recommendations with a progress over perfection mindset
  • Ability to work with all levels of management with high level of autonomy, motivation, and self-direction
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to establish and nurture connections across the enterprise to build a network of partners and resources
  • Natural curiosity to ask questions and look within the data for outliers and connections to improve upon existing tools and processes
  • Advanced Excel and or SQL knowledge - comfortability transforming large data sets into insights

This position may be considered for a Full-Time Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Full-Time Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada residents is $65,600 (min) to $118,100 (max).
