DUTIES
Major job functions include: preventative and restorative skilled maintenance of various machines and equipment including boilers, mechanical, electrical, water, HVAC and plumbing repair; complete repair requests for assigned areas including repair of wheelchairs, beds, light fixtures, etc. reports and records information pertaining to preventative maintenance; upholds facility policies and procedures; and all other duties as assigned.
The position is M-F with on-call responsibilities on a rotation basis.
QUALIFICATIONS
To qualify for this position we prefer three years of experience in mechanical, electrical and plumbing repair. Requires HVAC knowledge and commercial kitchen equipment repair. Requires a Second Class C boilers license (or ability to obtain within six months). Must have valid MN driver's license. Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Must be able to work an on-call schedule and weekends. Must be able to perform physical job demands of position. Requires the ability to exercise confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations. Experience in a Long Term Care setting is preferred.
