As a Sr. Manager Business Integration - Operations, you will play a key leadership role in owning the operations of the Target Forward Program Management Office (PMO) which is accountable to ensuring the governance of Target Forward, Target's cross-enterprise sustainability strategy. This role will also provide you with the opportunity to influence and support the broader Sustainability team's operations to enable the function to support Target Forward most effectively.

Notably, you will:
  • Own and lead the operations of the Target Forward Program Management Office (PMO) itself through developing and coordinating PMO routines and tools to enable effective operations of the PMO to enable progress.
  • Manage the enterprise-wide Target Forward governance structure, which includes but is not limited to:
    • With intentional consult from PMO and input from cross-enterprise leaders, strategically designing the structure, content, and agendas for Target Forward governance forums to enable the right conversations to drive progress with accountable senior leaders, Leadership Team (LT) members, and the Board of Directors
    • Coordinating routine logistics and thoughtfully disseminating key decisions and actions from Target Forward governance forums through a strategic communications plan
  • Serve as Target Forward liaison to Target's Strategy Planning and Strategy Finance teams and ensure alignment of Target Forward processes to complement enterprise-wide annual and multi-year planning needs; also responsible for communicating and reporting on measures of success, identified barriers, and opportunities for process improvement to Target Strategy Planning/Strategy Finance partners.
  • Develop and assist with the broader Sustainability team's routines and processes to operationalize the function's ability to make progress against Target Forward.


About you:
  • Four-year degree in relevant field or relevant experience
  • 7+ years of non-profit or general business experience
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with partners
  • Strong knowledge of social and environmental issues and stakeholder landscapes
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven problem solving, critical thinking, analytical and out-side of the box thinking skills - connecting dots and translating ideas into action
  • Strong analytical, organizational, planning and project management experience and ability to work independently, including the ability to multi-task and manage demands and/or projects simultaneously


This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$85,400.00 USD - $153,700.00 USD.
