Internal Audit instills confidence through independent assurance and risk insights to and collaborates with business owners across the enterprise. You will use your audit & risk subject matter expertise, professional judgment, analytics, agile concepts and other innovations daily. Your curiosity and courage will enable you to drive innovation in how we work to provide greater value to the Enterprise. As a Senior Manager for Audit Analytics with the Internal Audit team, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing the Audit Analytics Center of Excellence including leading team members with a high level of initiative and holding others accountable.
  • Working closely with global Internal Audit leadership and team members to identify key analytics use cases that will enhance the audit process and increase the value proposition of audit work performed.
  • Leveraging internal audit and data analysis skills to help identify and assess risks through data and managing analytics projects that support internal audit plans.
  • Assisting in the development of advanced data analytics and continuous audit capabilities.
  • Coaching global Internal Audit team members on use of analytics and collaborating with global data sciences and technology stakeholders across Target to stay abreast of changes to data architecture and identify new data for use in Audit Analytics.

About you:
  • B.A/B.S degree in a relevant field of study (i.e., Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, MIS, Engineering, Math, etc) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in internal or external auditing using analytics tools and reporting development.
  • Strong analytical skills, project management skills and ability to influence cross-functionally while managing multiple projects.
  • Experience in leading, coaching and developing team members and working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Strong professional judgment, critical thinking and written/oral communication skills (e.g., persuasion, influence, conflict resolution).


This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$85,400.00 USD - $153,700.00 USD.
