About us:

As a Fortune 50 company with more than 350,000 team members worldwide, Target is an iconic brand and one of America's leading retailers.

Working at Target means the opportunity to help all families discover the joy of everyday life. Caring for our communities is woven into who we are, and we invest in the places we collectively live, work and play. We prioritize relationships, fuel and develop talent by creating growth opportunities, and succeed as one Target team. At our core, our purpose is ingrained in who we are, what we value, and how we work. It's how we care, grow, and win together.

Keeping one of the most loved and recognized brands at the top of its game is no small task. It takes the talent and vision of a world class Administrative Support organization. We are strategic partners who balance the goals of the business with the needs of individuals and teams. We embody the very best of Target: new ideas, resourcefulness, quick and precise execution, creativity, professionalism and a fun and positive team culture. Do you pride yourself on building deep and broad relationships? Can you learn the nuances of a large, multifaceted business? Are you skilled at anticipating challenges and proposing solutions for your leader and team? Have you mastered the arts of organization, communication and collaboration? If so, you will be a key player in an organization that impact thousands of people who love to shop and work at Target.

As an Executive Assistant, you'll build a close partnership with a Senior Vice President, and be a key contact for their team. You'll set appropriate expectations and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment. You're an extension of your leader, complementing their work style while upholding Target's values and demonstrating the utmost poise, professionalism and leadership. Your open, clear and responsive communication across multiple settings and platforms will ensure you're a trusted resource for external partners, vendors and community leaders. You'll stay up to date on the complexities and nuances of the businesses your leader oversees and act as a key point of contact for direct reports and team members. You'll provide exceptional support by managing priorities and processes for leaders who are often traveling and always on the go. Project management skills are fundamental for removing complexity and maximizing your leader's time. Bring your talent for solving problems, thinking critically and recognizing roadblocks before they arise. Be a leader as you cultivate the development of a small team of administrative support staff within your area. Confidentiality, flexibility and exceptional time management will be key to your success and the success of your leader and team.
