The Lead Pricing Analyst is considered an essential resource for pricing and bid evaluation through the sourcing process, exhibiting strong knowledge of pricing models, scenario optimization, and sourcing techniques. Drives the application and maintenance of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) financial models to support clients with relevant financial comparisons and analyses throughout the Source to Manage ("S2M") process primarily for Strategic and Leveraged Spend Categories. Partners closely with business teams and Finance to gather historical volumes and spend, future forecasts, and budget information in order to identify relevant baseline spend. Inquires about key pricing assumptions to incorporate in TCO Models. Identifies relevant business constraints in order to present viable sourcing decision scenarios highlighting financial and non-financial trade-offs. About you:

• 4-year college degree and/or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort level with using large data sets to derive insights
• Ability to look at data and effectively story tell
• Strong written & interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in public speaking and presenting
• Ability to work with all levels of leadership with a high level of autonomy
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule around sourcing events

Even better if:

• MBA or advanced degree in related field
• Experience with Ariba, Coupa or other sourcing and procurement systems

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$85,400.00 USD - $153,700.00 USD.
