Position Description

As the CCO Provider Data Management Analyst, you will enter, update and maintain supplier data in HealthRules to ensure alignment with configuration principles, following policies and procedures set forth, and support proper payment of claims for in network and out of network providers. In addition, you are responsible to respond to internal customer requests, questions, and make system updates as needed.

• Add, maintain and terminate providers (suppliers) and provider locations in HealthRules, including demographic, taxonomy, Tax ID, banking and remittance, trading partner and NPI/UMPI data. Ensure all changes are documented in the record audit log and on the request.

• Conduct research, as needed, to ensure accurate and timely setup, following all policies, procedures, processes, and standards as outlined.

• Process provider online forms.

• Achieve and consistently maintain quality and production standards.

• Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve questions and issues to ensure timely and accurate setup. Document changes and decisions and communicate status.

• Ensure department service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

• Participate in internal discussions providing feedback on process improvements and operational efficiencies.

• Ensure compliance with all provider data requirements including screening, certifications, etc. Use MN-ITS, Streamline Verify and the National Plan & Provider Enumeration systems to ensure entities and practitioners are approved through DHS, CMS and not on any sanctions prior to setup.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.


Data entry experience. Microsoft Office experience. Experience in healthcare operations. Experience working with and/or managing provider data.

Required Experience

Experience with HealthRules payor application HealthRules supplier data management and configuration experience.

Preferred Experience

Experience using Business Objects. Ability to build and maintain relationships across the enterprise. Strong knowledge of government programs, regulations and benefits. Previous experience with CMS, DHS or payer reimbursement methodologies and /or payment policies. Knowledge of or experience with Optum Claims Editing System (CES) and Axiom TranSend.
