As a Senior Production Designer, you will be responsible for extending design programs for our Store Experience, while creating and maintaining consistent brand standards. With high standards of creativity, you will collaborate with creative and marketing teams in conceptualizing and creating layouts, executing layout revisions, establishing toolkits or style guides, as well as creating schematics or mock-ups & presentation decks for partner and leadership reviews.

You will manage all project assets, oversee retouching and create and proof keyline to final files while working closely with global partners. You will help define and apply production execution rules to all work, layouts, and final files including message hierarchy, branding elements, type-setting, photography and illustrations while ensuring quality and accuracy of work per Target standards and best practices.

Strong communication skills are instrumental in ensuring all peers and partners are kept informed. Attending local photo shoots with creative teams may be required either virtually or in person to provide detailed crop information and execute on-set layout revisions. You will lead and manage all production design details in order to meet project deadlines while successfully integrating and balancing big picture strategies with day-to-day work.

A Senior Production Designer will also drive continual improvements by defining quality standards and best practices, take initiative to address critical issues as well as participate and lead special projects and committees that will impact the larger organization.

About you:
• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of industry & print experience
• Solid use of MAC computer programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
• Proven track record of work demonstrating ability to adhere to brand expectations, applying fundamental design skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to extend detailed concepts while applying proportions of scale and production rules to each deliverable.
• Strong success rate of receiving and interpreting design direction from creative partners
• Successfully collaborates and performs duties by solving problems, applying critical thinking, presenting and clearly communicating role and project needs with partners and leaders
• Proven track record of operating independently and efficiently; with minimal direction, even through ambiguity
• Established success in simultaneously organizing and managing multiple large and small projects
• Stays current on emerging style, graphic and industry trends, innovation, and advancement in the fields of branding, design, as well as tools and technology used to perform role
