Project Portfolio Manager
The Project Portfolio Manager performs hand-on leadership and responsible administrative and professional work for leading the day-to-day assignments of Project Management Office for automated capabilities supporting business processes and technology infrastructure needed to meet business needs. Establishes, implements, and maintains domain-relevant policies, processes, and key performance indicators (KPI's). Participates in and helps refine existing and planned Portfolio and Project Management governance structures, standards, and processes. Oversees Project Management staff and performs vendor management activities, negotiating service contracts and ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs), pricing, and other details to meet Scott County requirements.
MQs: Requires equivalency of a Bachelor's Degree (Master's in Business Administration or Master's in Science preferred) in Business, Computer Science and/or Engineering, or Management Information Systems and seven years of experience in IT management, project management, general management, or consulting. A valid driver’s license and a reliable form of transportation for the performance of work responsibilities are required. Certification as a Project Management Professional at the ITIL Foundation level is required.
