Taxation Supervisor

The position is responsible for the administration, direction, and supervision of the staff and programs of the highly technical taxation area. Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the delivery of services provided by the taxation area and is responsible for the compliance with state statutes as well as county policies. Develops standards, controls, and policies necessary to administer and finance a variety of federal, state, local, and internal programs.

MQs: Requires the equivalency of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, or a directly related field and five years of related experience in property tax and taxpayer services administration or land management fields. One must complete Department of Revenue (DOR) courses Assessment Laws and Procedures with Ethics (ALP) and Mass Appraisal Basics within two years of hire, and DOR Property Tax Certification within one year of hire. A reliable form of transportation for the performance of work responsibilities is required. Strong analytical skills and in-depth experience and knowledge of property taxation-oriented computer software programs are desirable. 

Pay Range: $76,918 - $108,591 DOQ.
