Store Operations manages and enhances the informational resources for researching and resolving operational issues, while guiding and communicating with the field team and leaders who use them. A role within Resource Allocation means a big opportunity to support stores through data-driven headcount planning strategies to continuously improve our ability to provide each store with resources to support their business.

As a Sr. Operations Analyst, you will work on leadership resource allocation strategies and processes. In this role, you will:
  • Drive operational improvements through analysis and maintenance of the stores headcount model and data sources (within Excel, Smartsheet, and Greenfield) including updates for annual evaluation, new stores, and business adjustments
  • Analyze multiple data sources and feedback, build visualizations and reports to develop and share insights with cross-functional partners
  • Establish, maintain, and leverage stores headcount resources and reporting
  • Responsible for maintaining relationships and collaborating across Store Operations, HR, and Data Insights teams to manage and continuously build efficiency into headcount management processes

About You:
  • Four-year degree in Business, Finance, Analytics or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of analytical experience in an operational or retail environment
  • Leverage multiple data sources and make connections to provide insights and recommendations
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and rapidly changing work environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain cross-functional working relationships across the enterprise
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Smartsheet experience preferred


This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$65,600.00 USD - $118,100.00 USD.
