Job Details
Shift hours vary and may change due to the needs of service and staff availability. Shift hours vary to include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays but must be able to work weekend and overnight shifts.
As a resource to the Court and to clients, you’ll perform skilled professional corrections work monitoring juvenile residents in a 24/7, non-secure detention/residential facility. The employee oversees and controls security functions and implements gender specific therapeutic programming related to the care, custody, and well-being of resident through the principles of direct monitoring. The work involves an element of personal danger and physical exertion. The incumbent must be able to make independent decisions and exercise independent judgment in responding to emergencies. Work is performed primarily in an institutional setting.
MQs: Must have a Bachelors' degree within 6 months of hire and a valid driver's license at time of hire. Preference for experience working with youth in treatment, corrections, or probation environment. Evidence Based Practices trainings (Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Skills Groups) are desirable. CPR and first aid certifications are desirable.
FT & PT Hiring Range: $27.20 – $33.99 per hour.
On-Call Pay: $23.50 per hour
