Work Location: Work from home or Office for your day

Position Description

This position is responsible to collaborate with internal UCare staff to generate, manage and organize the ongoing maintenance of provider contracts and duties associated with provider contracting. Coordinate the production and maintenance of UCare provider contracts and related compliance and business continuity functions. Provide project management support for department.

• Coordinate the preparation and revision of letters, contracts, addendums and documents related to potential or current providers.

• Audit, information submitted on the approved forms for document generation and load into claims payment platform(s). Use mail merge to update fields into UCare's approved provider contract templates. Meet with PRC - Contracting staff and leader to clarify and communicate issues and concerns related to provider contract documents, templates or forms. Assist in the coordination of the retro contract process.

• Coordinate and manage the online provider change forms and assign work according to PRC assignments.

• Responsible for all compliance program documentation.

• Support audits, compliance projects, process evaluation and improvement and routine reporting.

• Maintain provider information in contract tracking database to ensure data integrity.

• Communicate project status to leader, including deviation from identified goals.

• Communicate important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management of contracts.

• Utilize contract templates under the direction of Provider Relations and Contracting management, Legal and Compliance Departments.

• Maintain potential, contracted, denied and correspondence provider files.

• Maintain strict confidentiality.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.


Associate degree in a related field preferred; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

One year of document management administrative experience.

Preferred Experience

Health insurance or managed care industry experience. Three years of document management administrative experience. One year plus contract management experience.
