Work Location: Office for Your Day

The health and safety of our employees, members, providers, and our community is our highest priority. Position Description

This position is responsible to provide administrative and project support for the SNP Sales Team. Assist with member walk-in inquiries related to coverage and premium concerns across all lines of business.

• Research, resolve and communicate effectively with walk-in members regarding concerns or issues related to coverage or premiums. Educate member on policies and procedures related to members' health care program.

• Maintain sales data base by coordinating monthly imports, entering new enrollments, and entering leads from direct mail and other sources.

• Report monthly sales activity using select data points.

• Upload mailing lists to vendor.

• Understand eligibility and coverage of enrollees through knowledge of contracts, policies, and procedures. Verify member eligibility using internal and external data bases.

• Serve on the Workplace Safety Response Team and act as first responder to escalated member issues. D etermine risk factor and following safety guidelines.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.


Two-year degree in health related, liberal arts or communication field, including a course in medical terminology; demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree. MN Life/Health Insurance licensure or the ability to obtain licensure is required.

Required Experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including SharePoint. Two years of Customer Service experience.

Preferred Experience

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of Medical Assistance application process or previous county financial assistance work.
