Responsibilities
The Corporate Purchasing Specialist analyzes Ecumen's purchasing compliance, reviews and assists with supply chain management, and monitors inventory levels in the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This position tracks vendor pricing and appropriate purchasing levels to ensure standardization and contract compliance.
Essential Job Responsibilities:Supports multiple service lines on ordering from approved suppliers in the ERP system. Assists with inventory levels by tracking, monitoring, and ordering goods and services while meeting/exceeding company budgetary expectations. Reviews key procurement and purchasing metrics to ensure business objectives and compliance with established standards are met. Maintains the procurement functions for system maintenance and provides training for users. Provides and analyzes reporting for system functions and follows up with appropriate business lines. Monitors vendor pricing and other sources to ensure competitiveness and compliance. Resolves shipping and invoice discrepancies. Compiles data on order volume, production schedules and forecasts, and applies statistical methods to estimate future materials requirements. Sets up a standard inventory system for the sites to monitor internal supplies. Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- High proficiency in spreadsheet development, utilization, and analysis
- Knowledge of buying principles, ability to evaluate quality and price
- Must be able to work independently, follow established processes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands; strong sense of urgency
- Extremely organized, high attention to detail, accuracy and follow through
- Knowledge of finance systems, how they integrate with the budget process
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in business or data management
- Proven inventory management or buying experience
- Knowledge of supply chain business, experience with contracts and agreements
- Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement training/experience
