The Ecumen Store is hiring an Ecumen Store DME Service Technician. The Ecumen Store began when innovative Ecumen team members saw a way to better serve our residents and families. Responsibilities

DME Service Technician

The DME Service Technician is responsible for interacting with patients and customers that use DME products from the Ecumen Store. The DME Service Technician will deliver medical equipment, supplies, provide instruction to patients and caregivers, perform designated service checks and pick up equipment.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver, set up, and service DME equipment that company provides
  • Contact patients to schedule deliveries and schedule routes accordingly to meet needs of patient in timely fashion
  • Train patients, caregivers and other healthcare team members on use and safety percautions of equipment
  • Pick up equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Pull and prepare equipment as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    DME Service Technician

    Minimum Required Qualifications:
    • Education: High School diploma or GED
    • Mechanical ability to assemble, tests, adjust and repair equipment
    • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
    • Able to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Relevant Experience: Two years' customer service experience
    • Knowledge of durable medical equipment
