Job Details

This position is responsible for the development and ongoing implementation of continuous quality improvement (CQI) of county services relative to inclusion, outreach, and access amid diverse and changing communities. The incumbent is an integral part of the leadership team guiding the organization’s work to address performance areas with disparate outcomes. The incumbent provides vision, leadership, and strategic action for workplace practices that continue to evolve diversity of thought, experience, and expression in the organization. The incumbent plans, implements, and oversees programs to move county mission, goals, and priorities forward, advancing a culture in which diverse employees contribute in new ways to successful programs and organizational outcomes. This is a highly collaborative and interactive role assisting staff in all areas and at all levels with varied needs.

 

MQs: Requires equivalency of a bachelor’s degree in a related field and seven years of progressively responsible leadership experience developing, implementing, and promoting diversity and inclusion programming; including, two years of lead responsibility for development and delivery of programming for an entity (as staff or consultant). One must have experience facilitating multicultural programming for groups, facilitating conversation in group settings, and implementing programming to broaden awareness and skills of staff or program participants. Expert skills in developing and making presentations and facilitating group conversations are highly desired. A reliable form of transportation for the performance of work responsibilities is required. 

 

Pay Range: $96,947 - $136,867 DOQ

Compensation: It is the policy of Scott County that fair and equitable compensation shall be provided to employees for services rendered, and employees should be provided competitive rewards for achievement.
