As a Sr Products Ops Manager, you will serve as a trusted advisor to the product portfolio by bringing data and insights about our users into conversations and ceremonies. You will leverage product experience to engage multiple levels of product in creating and implementing team routines that reflect product thinking and connection to OKRs and enable portfolio-level intention maps that fuel collaboration across products. You will be responsible for bringing visibility to dependencies and risks across the portfolio and providing visibility of progress to our Product KPIs through metric visualization and analysis. You are accountable for collaborating broadly across our product and operations teams to improve our core competencies around strategic planning, portfolio health, and communication.

Your core responsibilities include the following:

  • Creates the portfolio-level road/intention map and drives the process to keep it up-to-date and accurate
  • Defines the vision and product strategy to drive initiatives for Roundel growth; champion ad innovation by monitoring market trends to stay competitive in the industry
  • Develops a communication framework for our product portfolio to provide visibility to the progress and KPIs associated with the technology investment. Includes analyzing and preparing data to inform the strategy
  • Owns portfolio health metrics and consults/coaches on product insights
  • Collects and analyses end-user feedback; leverages insights to help product teams prioritize changes needed to increase adoption and end-user experience
  • Develops and advocates for best practices in tools, processes, documentation, and communication across the product teams and with stakeholders
  • Educates Product and Business Stakeholders on core product skills and understanding


The ideal candidate for this role will understand the technology and workflow throughout the lifecycle of a digital advertising campaign. The ideal candidate must have experience in publisher ad servers, specifically Google Ad Manager (GAM), and inventory analysis and yield management, specifically YieldAnalytics, to build the right media mix. Viewability + brand safety + fraud technology and measurement, and third-party tagging.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide ongoing ad inventory analysis (understanding the availability, performance, and problems of our ad inventory)
  • Inform business cases for ad inventory optimizations, including new inventory recommendations, removing inventory, or adjusting current inventory
  • Discovery and documentation with larger roadmap initiatives
  • Work closely with owned platform monetization product team and partner with cross-organizational teams
  • Regular communication with our stakeholders
  • System Administrator for T.com, marketplace, and App inventory via Google Ad Manager and YieldAnalytics
  • System Administrator for Verification platform (MOAT, IAS, DoubleVerify)
  • Troubleshooting and finding solutions to GAM delivery issues
  • Manage process for backfill and ad suppression across owned inventory
  • Working with different business and technical teams to ensure the stability of campaign delivery for T.com, Bullseye, and App

About you:

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience across product, product operations or analytics within adtech/martech
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Curiosity with a desire to learn and innovate
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently to prioritize and take action
  • Flexibility & resiliency; comfortable working in 'grey areas' that are constantly changing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment


This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$109,000.00 USD - $196,200.00 USD.
