The University of Wisconsin-Stout invites applicants for the position of Multicultural Student Services (MSS) Advisor. The MSS Advisor is responsible for providing services to support the retention and graduation of African American/Black, Native American/Indigenous, Asian American/Hmong, Hispanic/Latinx, biracial and multiethnic students. This position provides advisement, coordinates and develops programs for ongoing and new initiatives, and works collaboratively with other offices to support the successful college transition, retention, and graduation of students. This includes but is not limited to coordinating intercultural, leadership, and career initiatives such as MSS Leadership Retreat, Multicultural Leadership Award Ceremony, networking events, career development, and cultural workshops. This position will report to the MSS Director. Minimum annual starting salary $42,000 commensurate with finalist’s qualifications and experience.
