As a Senior Sourcing Manager, Manufacturing you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to deliver outstanding owned brand/private label products to our guests by leveraging proximity, innovation and strategic vendor/factory partnerships in our Americas source base. As you work in this newly-formed team, you will demonstrate your entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility, growth mindset, and innovation skills to advance our world-class sourcing and business partner strategies. You will play a role in the assessment and elevation of production capabilities, executing strategies that bolster the nearshore supply ecosystem. You will drive sourcing strategies that align to business goals and the critical needs of the relevant category, as well as utilize advanced negotiating skills to help Target achieve our value and financial plans. You will develop and manage a supplier matrix and production strategies that elevate performance, boost profit, drive speed to market and deliver on sustainability commitments, through an optimized and rationalized nearshore supplier base.

About you:
  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including strategic thought and conceptual thinking
  • Ability to work effectively with varying internal & external partners globally to achieve business results
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Strong analytical and financial skills to inform and influence decision-making
  • Ability to prioritize among competing deliverables and collaborate with and influence a broad group of partners and stakeholders
  • Energy and experience working in ambiguous, ever-changing environments
  • Respects, appreciates and values diverse voices and approaches
  • Committed to creating equitable experiences and fostering an inclusive team
  • Open to travel

Target General Merch Inc (TGMI) operating company is strictly prohibited from working more than 30 days per year in the following 16 states: AL, AR, DE, FL, IN , IA, LA, MD, MS, MO, NC, OK, PA, SC, TN and VA. If hired, you are prohibited from working remotely from one of the states listed above for more than 30 days per year.

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$87,900.00 USD - $158,200.00 USD. Pay is based on several factors which may include, but are not limited to education, work experience, certifications, labor markets, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
