A role with Target In-Store Marketing means an opportunity to shape our guests' holistic experience of our marketing content inside our stores. You'll drive the success of both forward-thinking projects and best practices that have a global impact on In-Store Marketing's activities. Bring your exceptional skills for prioritization to allocate and manage projects to meet budget and timing parameters. Here, you'll balance efficiency with effectiveness as you oversee the production and logistics for all In-Store Marketing deliverables.

As Senior Marketing Manager In-Store Marketing (ISM), you will leverage your print production expertise and operational acumen, to advocate for and lead the In-Store Marketing Print Production Operations function. You will optimize the Print Production Function through process & systemsimprovements, delivering clear accountabilities, and develop strong partnerships with internal cross-functional teams, our global partners, and external vendor community. You'll also guide business-specific reinventions and establish and share best practices and expertise, as well as drive exceptional in-store guest experiences. The person in this role will model and lead strategy development, execute ISM initiatives, and provide expertise and guidance on all reinventions or cross-divisional projects. You'll drive timing, process and cost efficiencies, and coach and guide team members on specific project work and key partnership relationships. You'll also create/maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders both inside and outside of company and be the trusted expert advisor to senior leadership for your business(es). In this role, you'll ensure business(es) maintain(s) safety, legal & patent guidelines and Target brand standards, and lead strategy and brief/concept development.

Your core responsibilities will include:
  • Vendor Management: Accountability to our print vendor management, mix, share of spend guidance, and defining future requirements based on the evolving needs of the business
  • Process Optimization: Accountability for delivering SEM design and print process optimization in collaboration with RBX and SEM partner teams
  • Systems Support: Champion new and existing systems that deliver on our efficiency goals

About you:

• Four-year degree in Marketing, or equivalent experience
• 6+ years relevant retail experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead and direct cross-functional teams and advocate for guest-focused solutions
• Ability to manage ambiguity
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with partners
• Strong sense of composition and design detail
• Proven experience developing successful creative briefs

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :(min) USD - (max) USD.
