Are you seeking a job, a career or are you being called to make a difference? Being a nursing assistant offers all of these but mostly you make a difference in many people's lives every single day! You start your shift by greeting the patients/residents. Find out how they are feeling, what they have been doing, etc? Help them to the restroom, tidy up their rooms, take them to the dining room, assist with bathing and grooming. Everything you would do for yourself, you provide to these awesome people that need assistance due to illness, recent surgery, or just poor health. You will follow their individual care plans, and document everything you do for them in their chart. You will also report observations and concerns to the nurse.

Scheduling is done using block scheduling which provides the employee a consistent, repeating schedule every two weeks. We also provide some flexibility in schedules if needed for school attendance. DUTIES
The Nursing Assistant(NAR) assist with providing total personal cares to the residents in a safe and efficient manner. Help residents with bathing, eating, grooming, ambulating and transferring. Report changes in resident conditions to licensed staff. Must have completed nursing assistant coursework and be current with the MN Nursing Assistant Registry.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have completed nursing assistant coursework and be current with the MN Nursing Assistant Registry.
