The Roundel Sr. Manager, Sales Development plays a critical role in helping our Partner Solutions Group (PSG) hit their Qtrly and annual financial goals. They work closely with the PSG leadership team to identify skill gaps and assess development opportunity areas for our Account Executives & Managers. The Roundel Sr. Manager, Sales Development partners with Roundel Learning & 3rd Party experts to create evergreen sales training plans/experiences to help upskill our PSG team and equip them to influence and maximize our client partnerships. They establish benchmarks, expectations, and rubrics on the Roundel selling approach to help our PSG org create consistent strong relationships with clients across all selling verticals. The coach will partner with our Go-To-Market (GTM) to ensure our PSG team is equipped to go to market with our new/enhanced products.

The Roundel Sr. Manager, Sales Development plays an important role onboarding all new PSG team members to help ground them in Roundel's selling approach and to become strong Roundel representatives in market. They will own the onboarding experience for Account Executives to ensure that they're market ready. The Roundel Sr. Manager, Sales Development is also responsible for 1:1 coaching of sales team members including market ride-alongs to gain insight on how they can best help the team succeed. They are ultimately the champion of sales enablement helping our individual seller reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:
  • Set annual learning and development objectives for the Partner Solutions team
  • Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
  • Improves metrics on sales and closing ratios and optimize sales cycle management
  • Partner w/ Instructional Design Learning Team to design evaluate/assess AEs & AMs, Development Sales Simulation, and Sales Certification Program
  • Responsible for the onboarding experience for new AE's
  • Observe and coach AE performance- participate in customer interactions to enhance representatives selling capability
  • Help Sales Directors and AE's identify sales activities and tactics that could help them reach their sales objectives and meet client's needs
  • Well-versed in and knowledgeable of all products and services- Serve as authority in role playing and model effective coaching skills
  • Keeps abreast of sales strategies, trends, initiatives, and best practices
  • Develop Mentoring program for AE's who fail to achieve 80% of assigned quota - Creating individual development plans in partnership with sales director
  • Future- help with AE interviews and recruitment
  • Serve as people leader for the Roundel READY! Account Executive population


Background:

10+ Yrs of Sales Leadership and/or Sales Enablement experience leading people

5+ Yrs in a retail media or media sales

Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate people

Direct experience partnering with L&D and or agencies to create educational resources for sales team

Experienced creating innovative and ongoing coaching methods to develop the team while improving sales skills

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid work arrangement means the team members core role will be a blend of virtual and onsite at a Target location. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at their primary HQ work location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target. The salary range is :$87,900.00 USD - $158,200.00 USD. Pay is based on several factors which may include, but are not limited to education, work experience, certifications, labor markets, etc. In addition to your salary, Target cares about and invests in you as a team member, so that you can take care of yourself and your family.
