Senior Experience Designer

Best Buy Co. has an opening based out of and working for its corporate headquarters in Richfield, MN for the position of Senior Experience Designer. This position provides a telecommuting benefit allowing the employer to work anywhere in the contiguous United States. Lead creative facilitation of appropriate User Experience Design deliverables to support the work effort of teams and to ensure standard design practices are utilized and overall experiences are consistent. Provide solution design for User Experience team by providing insight into current capabilities and functionality across all digital channels and other customer touchpoints. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Leverage customer research, site metrics, and usability findings to back up assertions, make recommendations, and drive strategy. Provide strategic input on the evolution and continual maturation of experience design practice and brand expression. Lead design, development and modification of software systems, using scientific analysis to predict measure outcomes and consequences of design. Partner with customer research, analytics, consumer insights and testing teams on methodology and approach for vetting and test strategies. Full Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent foreign degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Product Design or related IT field, plus four years of experience in a design related role with specific experience (1) working with Figma, Miro, Sketch, InVision, and/or Photoshop; (2) using design principles and deliverables including designs, wireframes, and prototypes; (3) demonstrating human-centered design, interaction design, information architecture and usability standards; and (4) designing consumer-facing applications for iOS and/or Android. Starting salary for this role ranges from $113,152 to $133,390, depending on experience.
